The Mohave Desert is the smallest and most arid of North Americas deserts,covering some 35000 square kilometers of land,including much of southern California,and parts of Arizona,Nevada and Utah.


The Mohave Desert contains four national parks,Death valley,Grand Canyon,Joshua Tree and Zion.


The Mohave Desert only gets around 15 cm of rain annually,but still it have a large variety of habitats,flora and fauna,including some 200 plant species endemic to the Mohave.


The best known plant here is the Joshua tree,a type of yucca.


The Joshua tree only live at higher elevations and they only live here.
