Olympic National Park you will find at the far north western tip of Washington State, just to the south of Vancouver Island.
The Park is divided into three areas:the Pacific coastline, tempearate rainforest and the Olympic Mountains that seperate the peninsula from the land to the south.
This isolation has resulted in many endemic flora and fauna.
The mountains are topped with ancient glaciers, with the 2428 m peak of Mount Olympus dominating the western half.
The coastal area is wild and wonderful, with some sandy beaches often covered with logs and other floatsam and others covered with great lumps of rock.
A place worth going to with its fantastic wilderness and 3 options to see at the one place.
